and executing various research and development projects
in related fields.
I
will take this year of 2004 as the first year of
the "Upgrade-KIMFT-2010 Plan" which aims
to globalize KIMFT to become a center of domestic
and foreign seafarers education and training and
to enhance educational environment and quality standards
to one of the world best level.
In
order to do so, firstly, I will make the KIMFT a
self-motivated organization where everybody feels
as if he/she would be the owner of KIMFT by attracting
active participation of a customer as well as teaching
and administrative staff through adopting the open-management.
Secondly,
I will also take the power of developing not only
individual staff but also KIMFT by systematically
supporting teaching and administrative staffs to
achieve their own goals. Futhermore, on this basis
I will seek for upgrading the MET on the software
side.
While,
on the hardware side, I will make sure and take
a necessary steps to combine two campuses into one
and shift to the reclaimed land of YOUNG-DO Island
and also updating MET and examination facilities
and so on.
